Peter Menegazzo was the chief investment officer of Investa, and executive director of Investa Office Management, for 5 years before becoming chief executive in July 2021. He was responsible for identifying and implementing strategic group initiatives, managing capital relationships, overseeing capital transactions, research and commercial developments, and providing investment support for all of the clients of the platform with the objective of optimising investment performance.
Mr Menegazzo has been with Investa for over 12 years and prior to being appointed CIO, he was fund manager of Investa Commercial Property Fund (ICPF) where he was responsible for the daily management and strategic direction of the fund. During that time, ICPF delivered strong investment performance and executed a strategy that enhanced portfolio quality and increased scale, resulting in the fund becoming the pre-eminent unlisted prime office fund in Australia.
Mr Menegazzo has broad property, funds management and finance experience gained during his 15 years in the industry. He had also held senior roles with AMP Capital Investors and BDO Corporate Finance.
