Peter McCafferty

Peter McCafferty is a professional scientist and manager with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, utilising chemistry and related science to solve problems for industry and the public. He was previously director of ChemCentre’s scientific services division, a role which he served in for 15 years, before becoming acting chief executive in 2017 and chief executive in 2019. He joined ChemCentre in 1992 after prior work in the private sector which included roles with Wesfarmers CSBP, Genalysis and WMC Resources. Mr McCafferty holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma in Business from Curtin University.
