In 2003, Peter Laurence OAM was appointed chief executive of the Anglican Schools Commission which owns and operates 15 schools in WA, NSW and Victoria. In 2008, he also became chief executive of Anglican Schools Australia, the national peak body representing 160 Anglican schools across the nation.
A former school principal, Peter trained as a secondary school teacher of economics and geography. He holds Bachelors’ degrees in Economics and Theology, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Australia.
He was a teacher at Somerset College, Gold Coast before becoming principal of Trinity Anglican School in Queensland and then principal of All Saints College in 2001.
