ASX-listed security surveillance company Spectur has posted strong sales of its cutting-edge solar powered camera systems in January after delivering record revenues in the December quarter, bolstered by a successful expansion into NSW, Queensland and Victoria. The Perth-based company expects further growth this year assisted by key appointments aimed at accelerating the development and rollout of its new surveillance technologies.

Listed security surveillance company Spectur is set to frighten the hell out of intruders in the dark with its new “Thermal Camera Detection System” that can see an intruder up to 1km away in complete darkness. Once activated, Spectur’s associated security system will flood the area with a massive floodlight, followed by a sci-fi style bull horn kicking into gear with a high decibel warning to the hapless trespasser.

Field trials conducted with an international freight and logistics company have delivered a pass mark with distinction for ASX listed Spectur’s “see in the dark” thermal camera detection system, clearing an important final hurdle ahead of the imminent launch of the company’s surveillance technology to a range of industries. The solar powered cameras are wireless and can detect an intruder at great distances in complete darkness.

Security surveillance company Spectur will roll out state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology on its suite of security camera systems, enabling its remotely monitored solar-powered cameras to learn and recognize peoples’ faces, vehicle number plates and even specific objects. Perth-based Spectur expects field trials of the new smart camera technology to commence in the next two months.

ASX listed Spectur’s security surveillance systems will quietly watch over at least 20 building sites and potentially up to 120 sites belonging to a national building company in a deal that will initially kick off with a $65,000 order. Spectur has posted revenues of $520,000 for April and May, representing an increase of 200% over the same period last year.

Security surveillance company Spectur has reported an 86% increase in revenues for the 2018 financial year to $2.48m on the back of a successful east coast expansion strategy. Spectur rents and sells wireless solar security cameras that have a number of unique abilities. Annualised recurring revenues, which the company considers as a buffer against the fixed costs of its operations, exceed $1.2m.

ASX listed security surveillance company Spectur has started to receive sales orders for its unique thermal, solar powered security cameras. The company said this week that it had received its first thermal camera order from an international logistics company based in Victoria. Significant interest has also been flooding in from other Tier 1 companies and Spectur has now started commercial manufacturing of the cameras.

A change to the company’s pricing strategy is expected to improve margins as it targets Tier 1 enterprise level solutions and explores new business activities outside of traditional security.

Perth-based security surveillance company Spectur has reported revenues of $1.1 million for the September 2018 quarter, up 161% from the corresponding quarter of 2017. The company is also starting trials of its new Shark Warning System, which is based on its solar powered, stand alone, cloud-based HD4 cameras, with the Augusta Margaret River Shire Council in November this year.
