Dr Peter French is a biotechnology executive and scientist with extensive experience as a chief scientific officer, chief executive and director.
He also has experience in commercialising medical innovations with over 40 years of scientific expertise in cell and molecular biology and over 40 peer-reviewed publications across oncology, immunology, microbiology and neuroscience.
Dr French had a successful academic career as principal scientist at the Centre for Immunology, St Vincent’s Hospital and Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at the Children’s Medical Research Foundation. He was awarded the Faculty of Science Alumni Achievement Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2019 from the University of Sydney, and was named as one of five Innovators of Influence in 2015 by the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering.
