Peter Bell was the former club captain of Fremantle Dockers, three-time Doig Medallist and Life Member. He is a dual premiership player with North Melbourne, who played 163 games for Fremantle and 123 games for the Kangaroos.
Mr Bell was inducted to the AFL Hall of Fame in 2015. He was an executive member of the AFL Players' Association (1999-2005) and AFLPA president (2002-2005). He is chair of the AFLPA Players' Trust and a former committee member of Perth Racing (2013-2015).
After retiring from football in 2008, Mr Bell carved out a successful career as a business owner with a strong focus on the hospitality industry, and has been guest keynote speaker for state, national and international clients. He also hosts a daily program on ABC and is a presenter on Channel Seven.
Mr Bell joined the board of Fremantle Dockers in 2015, became general manager of football operations in 2018, and executive general manager of football talent, strategy and special projects in October 2023.
He completed his secondary education at Aquinas College in 1993 and has a Bachelor of Law (2003) from Melbourne University.
