Penny Dakin is a leader with experience in developing and implementing policy-driven projects, leading high-performing teams across not-for-profit organisations, private industry and the private sector.
Ms Dakin has been chief executive of Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) since January 2019, having acted in the role from mid-2018. She had previously spent just under 3 years with ARACY including as general manager for policy and strategic engagement. Ms Dakin had also held senior roles at the Australian Government Department of Health, Insight Consulting, and A Village for Every Child.
Ms Dakin will depart ARACY in the new year following her appointment at Minderoo Foundation in January 2024, as executive director of Minderoo's communities focus area.
