Pauline Blight-Johnston has over 25 years of experience in life insurance and wealth management, at a range of professional and financial services firms.
Prior to becoming chief executive & managing director of Genworth in March 2020, Ms Blight-Johnston held senior leadership and strategic roles at Challenger, AMP and RGA Reinsurance Company. She was also the chief financial officer and appointed actuary of Asteron Life, and consulted to the insurance and wealth management industry at KPMG and Tillinghast-Towers Perrin.
An active industry participant, Ms Blight-Johnston has served on the boards of the Institute of Actuaries, the Financial Services Council, the Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance, and has been a member and chair of numerous committees within those bodies.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, the New Zealand Society of Actuaries, the Actuarial Society of South Africa, Finsia, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also holds a Master of Economics from Macquarie University.
