Paula White is a Banyjima traditional owner and co-founder of White Springs, which provides long-term employment and training for Aboriginal people in the mining support services across Western Australia.
She is also the managing director of PMW Industries, a 100% Indigenous owned & managed rail & civil maintenance company working with the mining and resources sector.
Ms White has dedicated her career to community engagement and has amassed a wealth of experience in this field. She spent almost a decade working for the WA Police Force, followed by eight years with the WA Department of Justice. Ms White worked for the Gumala Aboriginal Corporation, where she supported Banjima, Nyiyaparli, and Innawonga Traditional Owners and their children in education, employment, and livelihoods as the member’s advocate to assist with identifying the gaps for members to improve the polices so they can be adapted to meet the needs of the traditional owners.
