Paul Stephen has extensive experience in the financial services industry, starting as a portfolio manager at Perpetual Trustees in 1992 and working subsequently as a private client advisor with Porter Western and Macquarie Bank. Mr Stephen was a significant shareholder and senior client advisor at Montagu Stockbrokers prior to their merger with Paterson Securities.
Mr Stephen has also held directorships across both ASX and London Stock Exchange-listed companies, and has a strong knowledge of operations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
He was the co-founder and executive director of Crusader Resources where he oversaw the discovery, development and operations of its Posse Iron Ore mine in Brazil. Mr Stephen also managed the discovery and delineation of over 2.6 million ounces of gold for Crusader while operating in Brazil, resulting in the company achieving a market valuation of more than A$160 million.
