Virgin Australia names new CEO
Former DP World Australia boss Paul Scurrah has been tapped as the new chief executive of Virgin Australia.
Paul Scurrah has very strong experience in large scale logistics and transport.
He is the chief executive and managing director of DP World Australia and director of the Gold Coast Football Club. His previous roles included executive vice president of commercial and marketing at Aurizon; chief executive of Queensland Rail; and more than 20 years of experience in transport, tourism and customer service at companies including Flight Centre, Tourism Queensland, Ansett, Qantas and American Express.

Former DP World Australia boss Paul Scurrah has been tapped as the new chief executive of Virgin Australia.
Virgin Australia expects to report a full-year underlying earnings loss of at least $35.6 million and has warned that weaker domestic demand could push that out further.
