Paul Maher graduated from Edith Cowan University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (Education), with Science being a major focus and Mathematics a minor focus. He was employed by two Perth private Catholic schools before heading to the UK for two years to work for the Chingford Foundation School. After returning from overseas in 2005, Mr Maher was employed at Woodthorpe School, Willetton Campus as a science & HPE teacher, before moving to the Mathematics learning area. In 2008, he was appointed head of Mathematics for Woodthorpe School, then as Campus Coordinator of the Willetton Campus in 2009. He held both these positions between 2009-2014, before being selected for the Deputy Principal role of Woodthorpe School at the start of 2014. Mr Maher has been promoted to OneSchool AU Regional Principal for the WA/SA region.
