Paul Evans

Paul Evans has over 35 years of experience in handling complex commercial litigation, with a focus on disputes relating to corporate governance, transactions and takeovers, competition and economic law. He is also a frequent speaker at seminars on contract, corporations and competition law issues.

Mr Evans was the founding partner of US law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan's Perth office prior to becoming a senior partner and leader of the disputes team at HFW's Perth office in April 2022.

Mr Evans was also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Murdoch University Law School, State Solicitor for Western Australia for six years, and a partner in the Perth office of Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills) for over two decades.
