Paul Early
Founding Partner, Head of Mining & Metals, WA / Barrenjoey Capital Partners
Paul Early has been the founding partner and head of mining & metals at Barrenjoey Capital Partners since May 2021.
Mr Early began his career as a solicitor with MinterEllison and Baker McKenzie before switching to a career in banking and finance. In March 2001 he became the director of natural resources at Rothschild for over 5 years and following its acquisition by Investec, Mr Early became a senior banker at Investec Australia's natural resources team. He left Investec in September 2007 to take up the role of managing director and co-head of Barclays Australia at Barclays Investment Bank in Hong Kong, where he spent over 13 years.
Mr Early holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Western Australia.
