Paul Carter is an experienced stockbroker, analyst and investment banking executive. He is a qualified geologist with 10 years of experience in iron ore, gold base metals, oil and gas.
Mr Carter spent over 20 years in the financial services sector as an analyst, investment banker and broker; eight years as a gold analyst with Hartley Poynton, Paterson Ord Minnett, ANZ Securities and Macquarie; and 12 years in investment banking and institutional broking at Patersons Securities.
Mr Carter was the founder of Argonaut Securities where he built the broking business from himself and an operator into a mid-tier broking firm with six analysts, nine institutional dealers and 12 retail advisors. He has been active in IPO and capital markets, having raised over $1.5bn in the resources and resource services sector.
