Stewart Butel will retire as the managing director of Wesfarmers Resources at the end of July. Mr Butel has been associated with Wesfarmers since 2000.
Paul Bridson

Paul Bridson is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary with more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, including more than 20 years in the resources industry.
He was chief financial officer and company secretary for an unlisted public gold exploration company and prior to that, he fulfilled the same role with ASX-listed exploration company Avalon Minerals. Prior to these roles, Mr Bridson was financial controller for Gindalbie Metals and has also held site-based finance positions with various other WA-based mining and mine service companies.
Mr Bridson is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Governance Institute of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
