Paul Bastian

Paul Bastian joined the board of AustralianSuper on 5 April 2013. He was elected to the position of National Secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) in 2012, having previously held the position of National President since 2009. From 1997 to 2009, Mr Bastian was State Secretary of the AMWU NSW Branch. He is a shipwright by trade and holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
