Patrick Thompson has over 17 years of experience as a structural engineer in the BG&E Bridge Team. He leads multi-disciplinary teams in the areas of structural, civil, waterways and geotechnical design; acting as interface between clients, stakeholders, authorities and third parties. Mr Thompson and his team have provided engineering services on numerous major infrastructure projects in the transport and resource sectors, including major road and railway structures. His Bridge Teams at BG&E deliver a variety of engineering services including concept design and planning, detailed design, verification, preparation of construction documents, tender reviews, and provision of technical advice during construction, remedial works, inspection and maintenance.
