Patricia Reid has 40 years of experience as a non-executive director and chief executive, with a functional corporate & professional background as a chief financial officer and EY partner. She has experience across a broad range of industries (including heavy asset management, airlines, oil & gas, & manufacturing), wholesale trade, consumer retail, media, financial institutions & SaaS businesses; as well as in governance, audit & risk, finance, capital raising, strategy development, commercial operations, technology transformation, M&A, and organisational culture.
Ms Reid was chief executive of the largest Australian freight rail leasing & maintenance business, Rail First Asset Management, where she served for over 16 years, initially as chief financial officer. She was also the chief financial officer of ASX-listed and Hong Kong trading groups. Ms Reid started her career at EY, initially advising companies served by the London, UK Oil & Gas Group; followed by EY Hong Kong, as a partner advising large multinational US, European & Australian clients who are expanding in the Asia Pacific region during her 16-year tenure.
