Ansearch to buy Norman Asch's Webfirm for $5m
South African-born businessman Norman Asch has struck a $5 million deal to sell his Webfirm business to Melbourne-based search engine and online media company Ansearch Ltd.
Norman Asch has over 30 years of business experience.
Prior to moving to Australia, he founded National Paper Industries, Pacific Paper & Technologies, and Pacific Telecom in South Africa. In 2003, he purchased Webfirm, a digital marketing firm, from Consolidated Business Media, which he later sold to Ansearch (ASX:WFM). After honouring a three-year restraint agreement, he then took a strategic stake in one of Western Australia’s largest digital marketing companies, Titan Interactive. In November 2018, Mr Asch became chair and executive director of Integrated Marketing Technology which was formed for the purpose of acquiring Titan Digital Australia, Titan Digital South Africa and Roobix.
