Noel Nancarrow

Noel Nancarrow OAM is a retired farmer and was councillor for the Shire of Murray where he had also held the position of shire president. Mr Nancarrow represented the Shire of Murray on numerous committees including the Peel Region Planning Committee, as deputy chair of the Rail Heritage Foundation of WA in Pinjarra, the WA Local Government Association, and the Rivers Regional Council. He was involved with the Murray Health Centre Working Group for the establishment of a new Health Centre in Pinjarra. In 2020, Mr Nancarrow was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to local government, and to the community of the Murray shire.
