Nigel Ferguson is a geologist with more than 30 years of experience, having worked in senior management positions for 18 years in a variety of locations. He has experience in the exploration and definition of precious and base metal mineral resources throughout the world including DRC, Zambia, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, South East Asia and Central America.
Mr Ferguson has been active in the DRC since 2004 in gold and base metals exploration and resource development. He held several senior technical management positions and was Ashanti Goldfield‘s country manager for Tanzania, being instrumental in assessing the now multimillion ounce Geita Gold Project for acquisition by Ashanti. He is also a director of Burey Gold (ASX: BYR), African Metals Corp (listed on the TSX Venture Exchange), Samba Minerals, and was a director of Ethan Minerals (ASX:ETH).
