Nicky Lester led some of the most complex banking and finance transactions in the market over 20 years. Her experience is expansive and covers corporate and real estate finance, securitisation, debt capital markets and restructuring.
She is able to advise across the full spectrum of debt solutions, from structured and unstructured capital markets transactions to secured and unsecured bank bilateral, syndicated and club deals. Mrs Lester also supports clients on complex regulatory issues, and regularly advises domestic and international clients on financial services and banking regulation in Australia.
Mrs Lester has acted for all of the major players in the market from banks, funds and hedge counterparties to REITs, public and private companies and trustee companies.
She was the joint managing partner of Hogan Lovells' practice in Australia and head of its banking and finance practice in Australia before departing in early 2019 to launch a new corporate advisory firm Jameson Boyce Partners.
Mrs Lester is a trustee and director of the Westpac Foundation and a director of Bangarra Dance Theatre Australia (Australia's national indigenous dance company). She is admitted to practice in Australia and holds a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania.
