Nick Logan has considerable expertise in planning and infrastructure, and the management of teams. Previous experience includes public and private sector planning, project development and delivery.
Mr Logan has been with the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River since 2011, originally as a coordinator of strategic planning and sustainability, then as the manager of planning services, before becoming the director of sustainable development & infrastructure in May 2020.
Prior to working at the Shire, he was responsible for a team preparing the City Plan for Tauranga City in New Zealand which included working on strategic direction, the statutory planning rules, and the integration of major infrastructure considerations for the City. He was also a partner in a local planning consultancy in Western Australia, and a senior planner for The Planning Group.
Mr Logan has a Bachelors in Resources and Environmental Planning, and postgraduate qualifications in Project Management.
