Nick Dowling has experience in building, acquiring and growing businesses across a range of industries.
Mr Dowling is chief executive of the Jellis Craig Group, a leading real estate business based in Melbourne. He assumed the role in June 2011 and is responsible for overseeing the growth, risk management, and long term strategic direction of the group. Prior to joining Jells Craig, Mr Dowling was the head of real estate and business banking at Macquarie Bank.
Mr Dowling commenced his career with National Australia Bank across various divisions of the bank. He was chief operating officer of Balmoral Australia which is a family office engaged in the tourism, wine, maritime and investment sectors; managing director and chief executive of Australia and New Zealand at New Hope Group, a private Beijing-based corporation engaged in agribusiness and food, real estate and infrastructure, chemicals, finance and investment; and held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.
Mr Dowling holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Investment.
