Nicholas Downes spent over 20 years in financial advisory and provided full service investment advice since his career commenced at boutique, resource-based, investment house Far East Capital before joining one of Sydney’s oldest investment firms as an advisor. Prior to establishing and co-founding Peloton Capital in 2011, Mr Downes joined UBS Wealth Management in 2002 and spent 9 years as a director and senior investment adviser where heworked with high networth individuals and Institutional clients transacting in Australian and overseas markets. He has successfully concluded a large number of transactions and provided capital raising and structuring advice to several Australian ASX-listed firms. Mr Downes is a director of Peloton Capital, providing corporate finance and a full range of advisory services including securities trading, managed funds, corporate consulting, capital raising and sophisticated investor placements.
