Neil Salmon joined Ansell in July 2013 and was chief financial officer for six years before becoming president of the industrial global business unit in 2019 and as managing director and chief executive in September 2021.
Based in Brussels, Mr Salmon gained extensive professional experience in various international businesses and held finance, business transformation and general management roles in the chemicals, consumer products, food ingredients and safety sectors. He has worked in the UK, US, Singapore, South Africa and Belgium.
Mr Salmon spent the first 17 years of his career with Imperial Chemical Industries where he served in operational finance leadership positions in ICI regions, global business units and functions. Before joining Ansell, he was chief financial officer of Innophos, a US specialty ingredients manufacturing company based in Cranbury, New Jersey.
He is a Chartered Management Accountant with a Bachelor of Arts, Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford University.
