Neema Premji is non-executive chair of a substantial government trading enterprise and have been a non-executive director in several not-for-profit organisations for more than 18 years. With a background in civil engineering, she has extensive experience in the infrastructure, water, power, mining and transport sectors and a comprehensive understanding of the Federal, State and Local government planning and administration regimes. Ms Premji has more than 27 years of experience in the private and public sectors in project management, engineering, capital asset management (up to $250M) and infrastructure development ($500m to $1 billion). She is also skilled in financial, risk and asset management, strategic and business planning, compliance auditing and corporate governance. Ms Premji is a facilitator of the Strategy and Risk modules in the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course as well as the Strategy Planning and Corporate Governance components of Boardroom Focus programs. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Council Member for the South West AICD Committee, and was a mentee in the AICD Chairmen’s Mentoring Program from 2011-12.
