In July 2017, Nate Sturcke established Skills of the Modern Age (SOMA) as a way to help people and organisations embrace disruption and see it is an opportunity rather than a threat. Since launching, there had been over 1200 learners from some of WA leading organisations through future skills programs that help people learn the tools, technologies and mindsets of the modern age.
In addition to SOMA, and over 5 years, Mr Sturcke has had the opportunity work with more than 1000 entrepreneurs through a variety of programs including the Silicon Valley-based Founder Institute accelerator, Google-backed Startup Weekend, RAC SeedSpark seed fund, and Plus Eight accelerator program.
In 2017, Mr Sturcke was awarded the WA Startup Community award for helping to promote early-stage entrepreneurship throughout the state.
