Nathan Eaton has worked with over 100 clients across Australia and internationally, and has trained over 1000 people to use spatial technologies such as ESRI, MapInfo, Google, Remote Sensing and Open Source technologies.
At NGIS, his international work with developing nations has been instrumental in helping organisations in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands. Mr Eaton has provided technical leadership on ground breaking Google Maps deployment projects such as Landgate’s SLIP Future and Northern Territory Government’s Google Earth. He was the technical lead tasked with the implementation of NGIS’ enterprise partnership with Google.
NGIS is now positioned as one of the leading Google Geo authorities globally. In addition to his knowledge and skills in developing solutions with Google Enterprise Technology, he is also NGIS’ resident expert and technical lead within the full offering of ESRI’s solutions. As a principal consultant, his innovative GIS skills are utilised across a range of GIS solutions including mobile, desktop and web across all industries.
