Nathan Cain

Nathan Cain graduated from the University of WA with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Management), completed postgraduate studies in Local Government Management at Deakin University, and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Curtin University.

Mr Cain began his career in local government at the Shire of Wiluna as deputy chief executive in 1997 and has worked his way up through large and small metropolitan local governments in executive roles. He became director of corporate services at the Shire of Ashburton from March 2021 to August 2022, and chief executive at the Shire of Wickepin in January 2023.
