Mladen Stevanovic is a geologist with over 16 years of experience in the management and execution of exploration & resource development programs in Australia, West Africa and Eastern Europe. He has been involved in exploration, discovery and delineation of mineral deposits across a wide range of commodities and mineralisation styles.
Mr Stevanovic was part of the exploration team that discovered the 2.7Moz Timok Gold deposit in Serbia, and was heavily involved in the early technical work for Adriatic Metals’ Vares and Rupice deposits in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr Stevanovic was also the principal geologist for Australia at JSE-listed Gold Fields where he had a range of responsibilities spanning exploration, innovation and technology, business improvement and M&A support.
Mr Stevanovic graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exploration Geology and a Master of Science in Economic Geology from the University of Belgrade in Serbia. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a member of the University of Western Australia Centre for Exploration Targeting, and a committee member of the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA Exploration Committee.
