Mike von Bertouch is an aerospace and mechanical systems engineer who has been involved in several innovative technology companies in Western Australia.
He was a key participant in the launch of Nearmap, developing the initial airborne technology, and went on to found the company that became Spookfish which was bought by US-based Eagleview Technologies in 2018 for $122 million. His current roles include being executive director of Innovaero and operations director of Eagleview.
Mr von Bertouch is also an Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Authorised Person, holding a broad range of design approval authorities.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) with Honours from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and an MBA (Technology Management) from La Trobe University.
