
Mike Ganon is a senior banker who by the age of 36 had advised on the Alinta Gas and Bankwest IPOs, two of Western Australia’s largest privatisation IPOs, as well as the US$700m project financing of Burrup Fertilisers ammonia plant, including identifying and negotiating the involvement of its global ammonia off-taker.
He became a solopreneur in 2000 when he founded Next Level Corporate Advisory, one of the first independent M&A, corporate development, and capital advisors in Perth. Since that time, Next Level Corporate has helped transform businesses with customised M&A, capital markets and event driven corporate finance solutions, in and out of Australia.
Mr Ganon has led Next Level Corporate’s involvement in executing transactions in Australia, Asia, Europe, India, and the UK, which have enabled companies/owners to achieve their business objectives.
Prior to founding Next Level Corporate, Mr Ganon was a member of the M&A and ECM teams in Macquarie Bank’s Investment Banking Group in Perth, as well as a senior Corporate Advisor and Equity Underwriter for Porter Western Corporate. He is currently an advisory board member for two Perth-based start-ups and a limited partner in an ESVCLP.
