Edward (Mick) Stroud has been a director of Wavenet since December 1999 and is the company's dominant shareholder. He was executive chairman from October 2002 to May 2008 and became executive chairman after that. His business experience extends through executive roles in several private and unlisted public companies. He controls nearly 50 per cent of Wavenet, mainly through his private company Westwall Holdings which also holds a 50 per cent interest in Preston Vale, a vineyard in which Wavenet holds 30 per cent.
