Michael del Prado has had an executive career of more than 30 years in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, with senior leadership roles in Johnson and Johnson medical device businesses across the globe including the United States, Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific.
For six years, Mr del Prado was group chair of Ethicon where he had overall responsibility for the business across the globe, driving its strategic, innovation, and commercialisation agenda and delivering on financial results worldwide. He also led J&J's Global Public Health efforts to enhance access to essential surgery.
Mr del Prado is a non-executive director of Cochlear and Ambu A/S, a medical device company listed on the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen.
