O’Keefe heads Mamba
Mamba Minerals has appointed Michael O'Keeffe as chairman, Richard Wright as non-executive director, and Niall Lenahan as director and company secretary of the exploration company.

Michael O’Keeffe is a metallurgist with significant experience and achievement in growing mining resources companies.
As executive chair of Riversdale Mining from 2004 to 2011, he led the company from a junior miner with a market capitalisation of A$7million to a major company acquired by Rio Tinto for A$4billion. Prior to that, Mr O'Keeffe was the managing director of Glencore Australia and was responsible for its Australian acquisitions. He also held senior executive management positions at Mt Isa Mines and undertook feasibility studies into downstream copper smelting and refining opportunities in Europe, Asia, North and South America.
