Michael Lurie has over 40 years of experience in private legal practice and business. In 2003, he established his own law firm, Michael Lurie + Associates (MLA), a boutique firm providing legal advice and services in relation to large scale property, finance and commercial transactions for corporate and institutional clients. Before establishing MLA, he was a senior partner of Ashurst (formerly Blake Dawson Waldron). Mr Lurie served on the boards of several public and private companies servicing the property development, finance, funds management and venture capital industries, as well as the boards of charitable and community institutions. He is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and holds Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Cape Town.
