DESPITE a major spat with federal Liberal deputy leader Julie Bishop, political observer Peter van Onselen still puts her in his top 10 most influential Western Australians.
Michael Keenan is an Australian Liberal Party politician who was first elected to the House of Representatives for Stirling, Western Australia in 2004. He is the Minister for Human Services and the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Digital Transformation in the Morrison Government. He was Minister for Justice from 2013 to 2017. Mr Keenan retired from politics at the 2019 federal election.
Since leaving politics, Mr Keenan has held board and advisory roles. He was also chief executive of disability accommodation and service provider Sana Living for 4 years until 2023.
