Michael Jensen advises clients on a wide range of employment and workplace safety related matters including industrial action, unfair dismissals, employment contracts, negotiating and drafting enterprise agreements, implementing redundancies, equal opportunity and discrimination issues and dealing with workplace safety issues. He regularly provides advice in relation to disciplinary and unfair dismissal proceedings, and represents employers in conferences and hearings before the State Industrial Commission, Fair Work Australia, State Administrative Tribunal and the Federal Courts.
Mr Jensen has over 20 years of experience in employment law, having worked in the industrial section of a major employer association as an advocate before joining Lavan in 1995. He has a particular interest in disability discrimination as it applies to inclusive education.
