Michael Herrington has over 40 years of experience in petroleum operations within Australia, US, Europe, and Asia. He has particular expertise in bringing new coal seam and conventional gas fields from discovery through to full commercial operation.
Mr Herrington also has experience in diverse technologies such as satellite imaging and drilling rig modifications, and has managed efforts to establish coal bed methane recovery leases in Europe, Australia and Asia.
He was the chief operating officer & executive director of Central Petroleum, managing director of Jabiru Energy and Enron Exploration Australia, president of upstream at QGC, & managing director of Enron Exploration Australia.
