A Perth-based port management company has forged ties with Indonesia’s South Sumatra province, striking an agreement to work on the development of a new port.
Captain Michael Edwards OAM served in the Royal Australian Navy from 1979 to 2004, and has been chief executive of Oropesa Port Management since 2005. A former Navy clearance diver, he was awarded the Medal in the Order of Australia for his actions in Iraq.
