Machine learning mavericks meet Perth mainstream
A group of emerging Perth minds is using machine learning for everything from power grids to poetry.
Before working in machine learning, Michael Clark worked in oil and gas.
At OMV and Schlumberger, Mr Clark used his Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience to work with exploration and production data in New Zealand and Australia.
Since moving to machine learning in 2016, he started ThinkCDS which specialises in geospatial, satellite and point cloud applications of machine learning. Since then, he has taken many machine learning projects through planning, development, and commercial deployment.
