Melissa Bowen is a Founding Director of ThinkBox Media and a media trainer, consultant and producer.
Her broad experience across both media and marketing helps clients see the big picture and her customised trainings provide the strategies to maximise a media opportunity or diffuse a crisis.
With a special interest in crisis communications, Melissa is renowned for her practical, honest, and results driven approach and empowers clients with real tools based on how the everchanging media works today.
She has worked with clients from a range of sectors including Health, Mining, Education, Building, Government, Research and Aged Care.
After beginning her career as a journalist with West Australian Newspapers, 6PR and Channel Seven Perth, she spent more than a decade in Melbourne and Sydney for The Seven Network in leading editorial roles across news and programs including overseeing Melbourne’s 6PM News Bulletin.
Upon returning to WA, she worked closely on the integration of Seven West Media and was promoted to General Manager of Marketing and Communications for the group.
She continues to produce video for private clients as well as television for local and international broadcasters.
