Mel Rowe

Mel Rowe is passionate about working with women and children, and has held multiple service delivery and management roles across the not-for-profit and government sectors.

Prior to becoming the general manager of women's refuge Orana House, Ms Rowe was manager of the Eastern Region Domestic Violence Services Network (Koolkuna) for more than ten years, and has worked with at-risk youth in the community and residential settings within Western Australia and the UK.

She has professional Social Work qualifications and a Masters in Therapeutic Childcare, and a Diploma in Management which examined management’s role in the community sector.
