He is the founder and chief executive of GeoAI company Mapizy, where he leads a team of high-performing AI engineers and data scientists to create geospatial analytics for all kinds of industries.
Dr Ravanbakhsh was a project leader in the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (CRCSI) where he led a team to develop the highly regarded Barista software system for satellite image processing and feature extraction.
