Matthew Pedley was a director of KPMG's Mining Mergers and Acquisitions Team. Based in Perth, his particular focus is on companies operating in the energy and natural resources industries with a particular focus on the mining industry. Mr Pedley has over 12 years of corporate finance experience including working in KPMG’s M&A team, on the resources desk of a London-based investment bank and the corporate division of an Australian stockbroker. He has completed numerous M&A transactions (both buyside and sellside) and has been involved in raising capital and floating companies on ASX, LSE and AIM. Mr Pedley has also been involved in numerous corporate and business valuations, and independent expert reports (‘IER’) across a range of industries. He is a board member of the Australian Korea Business Council (AKBC) and was non-executive director of an ASX listed mining company.
