Matthew Hunter has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, and significant experience investing in private companies and early-stage ventures.
He started his career with 13 years in the investment banking industry in Australia and the UK with JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. This was followed by 8 years in the private equity industry with The Carlyle Group, including as a managing director in its Sydney office.
Mr Hunter was a non-executive director of Healthscope and Coates Hire, and is a non-executive director of Medi-Rent and Governor of the Centennial Parklands Foundation.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, with First Class Honours, from the University of New South Wales.
