Matthew Callaghan is a senior civil designer with over 18 years’ experience in the engineering consultancy field in Western Australia.
As the technical resource manager, civil at Pritchard Francis, he is responsible for allocating resources to all civil projects within the office, ensuring deadlines are met, and expectations of quality in drafting and design are achieved. His skills in the mining and resource sector include road and LV & HV haul road design, earthworks, drainage, sewer and water reticulation, tailing dams, floodways, traffic and pedestrian control devices, train loadouts, ore handling pads, rail crossings and stockyards. While primarily occupied with internal resource allocation, Mr Callaghan is also playing a vital role in maintaining and progressing Pritchard Francis’ civil design standards. He regularly undertakes a senior and hands-on role using advanced AutoCAD and 12D, assisting engineers with project administration for earthwork quantities and design, retaining walls, land development, civil infrastructure and commercial projects.
