Matt Norton commenced work with then Geographe Bay Tourism Association in December 2009 as the visitor centre manager. With the amalgamation of the AMRTA and GBTA, he was appointed the tourism services manager of the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association in July 2015 where he was responsible for its four visitor centres and membership teams. Mr Norton subsequently became business development manager in July 2018.
Mr Norton has been chair of the Visitor Centre Association WA and was involved in the amalgamation of VCAWA & TCWA which has seen a united voice and increased exposure for visitor centres.
